About Dr. Gurevich

Ilana Gurevich, ND, LAc, MSOM is a naturopathic physician, licensed acupuncturist, and digestive health expert. She is the founder of Open Wellness PDX, a multidisciplinary integrative clinic in Portland, Oregon.

With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Gurevich specializes in holistic approaches to complex gastrointestinal conditions. She helps restore the body’s natural ability to heal when conventional methods have failed to address the root cause of pain or disease.

Her clinical focus includes irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), chronic diarrhea or constipation, abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Gurevich develops individualized, whole-person treatment plans, partnering with patients to identify sustainable solutions that fit their unique needs.

Dr. Gurevich earned her medical degree from the National University of Natural Medicine, the oldest accredited naturopathic medical school in the United States. She is also a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Gastroenterology (FABNG), reflecting advanced post-doctoral training and expertise in naturopathic gastroenterology.

Her clinical tools include Western and Chinese herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and individualized nutrition education.
